IL GIOCO DELLE PARTI

After some years is finally available online this video regarding... bodies! I shot it with and for Fabiana Sargentini who proudly directed it in 2016. Twenty-one naked bodies, lying on a white background. Legs, feet, breasts, penises, and vaginas. For the faces there is a different space. Twenty-one bodies: the one of the director together with those belonging to friends, actors, people passed by chance. The camera flows with fluid movements as if it were in front of a landscape, creating panoramas on skin, on imperfections, on scars, on moles, on hairs, on ripples. The twenty-one bodies become a single, indistinguishable body. There is no aesthetic ambition, no perfection, no tonicity: the aim is to enhance the beauty of every body at any age. Next to the images, to these flesh parts, are twenty-one voices that belong to those bodies, and that tell the relationship with each one of us body: what makes us love it, what we can hate of it.
